Willie Lee Sermons, Jr. a,k,a, “Nuke” was born in Dade City, Florida on January 19, 1985 to the parents of Willie L. Sermons Sr. and Mary Sermons Sanders. On Saturday, September 17, 2023. He answered the Master’s call and ended a fruitful life. As a child, Willie sand his family moved to Columbia, South Carolina. Even though Carolina was his home he was often in Pasco County with his family in Florida. Many will miss his smile and the pat on your back. Willie completed his education at Lower Richland High School. Willie loved doing lawn maintenance. He was the first born to Willie Sr. Many will remember him for his beautiful smile and kind heart. Willie was preceded in death by many family members. Those who will miss him dearly are: his parents, Mary Sanders (Bob) of Columbia, SC; father, Willie L. Sermons, Sr. (Jalyna) of Trilby, FL; four brothers, Michael Hardnett (Latranda) of North Carolina, Brian Sermons of Dade City, FL, Artricie McCord of Lady Lakes, FL and Joshua Sermons of Trilby, FL; 2 sisters, Aubrey Boykin (Kenyonna) of Hinesville, GA and Juanite Lyons of Hinesville, GA; paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Sermons of Lacoochee, FL; paternal grandfather, Robert Knight (Wessie) of Holiday, FL; maternal grandmother, Alice Mae Gainey of Zephyrhills, FL; 8 nephews; 4 nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
