Veronica Wright Obituary

Veronica Michelle Wright, lovingly known to many as "Missy" was born November 13, 1965 in Dade City, FL to Woodrow Wright and Paulette Twiggs.  She graduated from Sheridan High School in Englewood, Colorado and later enlisted in the United States Army.  She moved to Syracuse, New York in 1993, then back to Dade City in 2011.  Veronica received her Nursing Assistant Certification from Pasco-Hernando State College.  For ten years plus, she cared for the elderly, which was her passion in life.  She was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church, Dade City, FL.  Veronica passed away on November 28, 2021 in Syracuse, New York.  She leaves to cherish her memories; her son, Randy Miller; her mother, Paulette Twiggs; her father, Woodrow Wright; sisters, Solina Hanner (Terry) and Jana Wright; brother, Woodrow Wright Sr. (Letisa); nephews, Kenji and Kenan Hanner and Woodrow Wright Jr.; nieces, Essence and Raven Wright; she will also be lovingly remembered by her best friends, Brigitte Bryant, Lora Barker, Kimberly Davis, Izella Stewart and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.

 

   

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented necessary procedures during Visitations, Funeral Ceremonies, Gravesides, and other public and private ceremonies.  We do ask that all visitors of these services to please continue to wear your masks and please remember to social distance.  These new policies may be inconvenient, but due to the severity of the virus, we ask that everyone be considerate, patient, and safe with others as we try to get through this most difficult time.  Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.  

*If you are attending a Graveside service or an Outdoor Celebration you are welcomed to bring your own chair as seating will be limited!  We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time. We pray that everyone stays safe and cooperative with the current CDC rules.
