Tomika Tashan ("T.T.") Brown

Tomika Tashan Brown, affectionately known as "T.T." was born July 31, 1977 to Roberta Penix and the Late Tommie Brown in Dade City, Florida.  T.T. attended the public schools of Pasco County and graduated from Pasco High School with the class of 1995.   She accepted Christ at the early age of 15 and has been a faithful member of Mt. Zion AME Church.  T.T.  enjoyed her family, her friends and singing in the church choir.  She had a great love for singing and was often noted for her singing in the choir.   T.T.  received her AA Degree from Pasco Hernando Community College in 1997 and furthered her education at the University of South Florida where she was just 9 credits away from obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Biology.  She worked several customer service jobs over the years until her health began to decline.  She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her half sister, Alexia R. Glover.  T.T. departed this life on Friday, October 7, 2016 in Dade City, Florida.  She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Chloe T. Matthews; her loving and devoted mother, Roberta Penix; her loving siblings, Adrienne R. Brown, Calandra Glover, Robin L. Stevenson and Tesla Woods; a special niece, Amari R. Penix; a special nephew, Devon R. Toomer; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
