Tomeka Lashay Sims

Ms. Tomeka Lashay Sims was born January 23, 1980, in  Dade City,   Florida to Johnnie Johnson and Rosie Brown.  Tomeka attended the public school system of   Pasco County where she met and made many lasting relationships.  Tomeka was a very fun and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Tomeka was preceded in death by her grandmother,  Emma Brown; grandfather, Theola Brown, and brother, Wayne Sims.  On Monday, June 22, 2020, God called Tomeka home to her eternal rest.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.  Tomeka is survived by her loving and devoted son, Damien Sims of Dade City, Florida; her loving and devoted mother,   Rosie Harris of Dade City, Florida;  brothers, Donnie Sims of Golden Meadow, LA, Greg Sims of Grand Isle, LA, James Brown and Larry Brown Sr. both of Dade City, FL; sister, Linda Brown of Webster, Florida; and  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other  sorrowing relatives and

*Visitation: Due to the pandemic of Coronavirus, social distancing will be practiced during visitation hours.  Milton Funeral Home staff asks everyone who visits during visitation hours, to please wear masks when entering the funeral home.  There will be no gathering of family and friends at the funeral home.  Once individuals have viewed the remains, we ask that everyone return to your vehicles as you prepare to leave the premises.  If you are sick, we ask that you not attend funeral services.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
