Ti'erra T. Rooks

Ti’erra Tashana Rooks, affectionately know to many as “TeeTee” was born July 14, 1988 in Zephyrhills, FL to Terrance Rooks and Terra Hanner. TeeTee accepted Christ at an early age and was reared at her family church, At the Church of the Living Christ. TeeTee attended and graduated from the Pasco County School System, graduating with the class of 2006. She later attended UMA College, where she earned her Associates degree in Medical Administration and was employed by Sunshine Health Care. TeeTee enjoyed family and friends. TeeTee’s greatest accomplishment was becoming a proud mommy to her new bundle of joy, Flowers Inez Lucretia Newsome Hanner. She always had a great love for children and spent countless hours with nieces, nephews, and community children. She was certified as a child care provider. On July 5, 2024 God bought TeeTee’s life to a close. She was preceded in death by her son, La’Rome Newsome; grandparents, Neddie Lee Hanner, Willie J. Adams, Bernice Wells Rooks and Eddie Rooks; uncle, Theron Hanner. TeeTee is survived by her mother, Terra Lucretia Hanner; father, Terrence Rooks, siblings, Terran Rooks (Juan,II), Tanika Louis (Melvin), Tamara Dixon (Domenic), Travelle (Angie) and Tyvelle Dorvil, Pastor Deundrick Reed, and China Wimbush; nieces, Melanie, Denver, Zataviayah, Zabria, Ryleigh and Meiari; nephews, Juan III, Ja’uarren, Timarian, Jase, Toryn, Dymani, Garion and Trey; aunts, Tonya McClendon (Charles), Torrie Lavender, Dawn Adams, Darlene Rooks and Luvenia Ross; uncle, Terry Hanner (Solina) and Fredrick Hanner; a special friend, Charles “Rome” Newsome; bonus son, Jaxun Harris; great aunts and uncles, Assistant Pastor Viola Vaughns, Evangelist Ethel Perry, Addie Hall (Leroy), Helen Holt, Gloria Adams, Eula Marbra, Katherine Taylor, Alfred Adams, David Felder (Cynthia), Eugene Felder, Bennie Wells, Sr. (Janice); special cousins, Andre Hightower, Shawn Eaddy, Antoin Lee, Meisha Hanner, Regina Waters, Ta-Shaney Walker, Paula Clarke. Alvera Lee and Sidney Hanner; friends, Ernestine Burns, Shaquandra O’Neal, Brittney Toole, Tanisha Harris, Amari Warren-Cox and Jorshe’a Hammond; and a host of other family members.
