Thomas Futch Obituary

Thomas Jack Futch (T.J.), age 52 departed from this  life on Friday, September 27, 2019 in Tampa, Florida. He was born on July 1, 1967 in Dade City, Florida to the union of Jasper Jack and Barbara Ann Williams. He was converted into Christianity at an early age at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Louis Waddell. Post was war he studied Eastern religions and followed Islamic beliefs as a Muslim. He was educated in the Pasco County Public School System and was a Pasco High graduate, class of 1985. He later received an Associate Degree and was a Certified Paralegal. During his lifetime, he was employed at Winn Dixie and A & K Sign Lighting Company in Dade City, while serving in the Florida National Guard.  Thomas then found his passion for the Military. He served his country in the United States Army, serving as a Medic. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, (Hezekiah and Mabel E. Green) and his paternal grandparents, (Luther Futch and Pearlie Mae Floyd); his mother, Barbara A. Williams; and all his paternal aunts and uncles, Daisy Ware, Elnora Thompson, Sarah Key, David Futch, Abraham Futch, Kenny Futch, Johnny Futch and maternal aunts and uncles, Mae Ollie Rose, Geraldine Crenshaw, Rosalyn Grubbs, Lettie Stewart, Richmond Green, Lonnie Green; and his beloved brother, Antonio Lorenzo Futch “Lolo”. Thomas leaves to cherish his fond and humorous memories: His wife, Etesia Ramsay, his son, Nicholas Barkley-Jordan; his devoted father, Jasper J. Futch; his devoted sisters, Jacqueline Denson Sanders (Rick), Roberta M. McNabb (Allen), Antoinette M. Robinson (Jason); his brother, Lemuel Pickett; devoted nieces, Tawana Futch, Brittany Futch, Amanda Kennedy, TeShanna Futch and A’divah Walls;  devoted nephews, Terry McNabb, Cameron Sanders, Edner Dely, DeShaun Walls, Jr., Jayshawn Harris, and Carter Sanders; aunts, Roberta Williams (Robert), Thelma Green; uncles, Robert McFadden (Betty), James Crenshaw, and John Willie Stewart; one special cousin that he loved as a brother, Reynold Stewart (Caroline); special friends, Robert Walker, Derrick McLaughlin and the Hambrick family; and a host of cousins and friends.
