Thelma Shirley Durr affectionatelly known to many as "Sug" was born January 14, 1951, in Zephyrhills, Florida to Frank and Maybell Willis. Sug attended and graduated from Mickens High School in Dade City. She worked several jobs, naming a few: Daytime Dispatcher for Fire and Rescue Services of Zephyrhills; Clerk of the Courts of Dade City, Florida; and one of her favorite passions, sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maybell Willis; her sister, Annie Bell Jiles; and her sister, Geraldine McCants. Thelma leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted son, Rashad Durr; her sister, Frankie Mae Willis McKenzie; two grandchildren, Isaiah Durr and Tamira Laezza; two great-grandchildren, Vaylynn and Remi; nephews, Ronald Jiles, Orion McCants (Johvanna), and Marcus McCants (Kim); nieces, Patricia Jiles and Anissa McKenzie; and a host of great nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends; goddaughter, Stephanie Williams.

We do ask that all visitors of these services to please continue to wear your masks and please remember to social distance. These new policies may be inconvenient, but due to the severity of the virus, we ask that everyone be considerate, patient, and safe with others as we try to get through this most difficult time. Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.
*If you are attending a Graveside service or an Outdoor Celebration you are welcomed to bring your own chair as seating will be limited! We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible. We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time. We pray that everyone stays safe and cooperative with the current CDC rules.
