Syreta Yvonne (Cowan) Thomas

Syreta Yvonne Thomas was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to James B. and Cora Mae Cowan.  She was educated in the state of Michigan.  She was a dedicated stay at home mother with two sons, Floyd William Thomas Jr., May 24, 1974 and Cornelius Lee Thomas, April 14, 1975, both of Lacoochee, Florida. Syreta has been a Pasco County Resident for over 40 years.  She was one of (15) Fifteen children and preceded in death by both her mother, father and one brother (James H. Cowan).  She leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories:  Her two sons, Floyd Jr. and Cornelius Thomas, four bothers and nine sisters; three grandsons: Qui-shawn, Reggie and King; grand-daughters, Kadijah, Ta’leya and bonus grand-daughter, Nya Marie.  A host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loved ones.
