Sister Luecile McNabb Obituary

Sister Luecile McNabb was born February 9, 1935 to the late Allen and Manatee Thinn in Marianna Florida. Luecile was one of 13 children. Luecile received her formal education in Marianna. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Holy Neck Baptist Church. . Luecile later moved to Dade City, Florida where she resided for many years. Luecile met the love of her life, the Late Willie James McNabb and was married for 48 years before his passing. She was blessed with three wonderful children, Roosevelt, Letitia, and Willie. Luecile was employed by Kraft Foods in Lakeland, Florida for 20 years before the plant closed its doors. She was later employed by Bee Gee Shrimp Company, which changed its name to Tampa Made, for 15 years. Luecile enjoyed working and supporting her family and her church until her health began to fail. Luecile loved the Lord with all her heart and served faithfully at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Dade City. She was a Sunday School Teacher for more than 65 years, she has also served as Vice President of Choir #1, the Senior Choir, Vice President of the Senior Women's Mission, Advisor for the Glory Boyz Step Team, Advisor for the Junior Mission Ministry, and a member of the Intermediate Mission Ministry. Luecile was faithful to the Senior Gill, The Junior Gill, Union #2, The Association, and the Baptist State Convention. She also was a supporter of GMWA. She was an awesome cook and great tailor. Her favorite words were. "Do Right, Keep Peace and Love". On Saturday, March 18, 2023, God called Luecile home to rest. She leaves cherished memories with her 3 loving and devoted children: Roosevelt Thinn, Letetia McNabb Solomon (Robert), and Willie James McNabb Jr. (Nese); 8 grandchildren, Marquett Thinn (Georgette), Freeman McClendon, Jr. (Justine), Kharun Marshall, Lyneera Solomon, Zechariah Solomon (Olivia), Tyhem McNabb, Jermaine McNabb, and Willie McNabb III; 7 great-grandchildren, Kris Thinn, Jason Thinn, Tyala Thinn, Wesleyan Thinn, Amir McClendon, Ava McClendon and Aven McClendon; 3 siblings, Allen Thinn, Tommy Thinn (Cherrie), and Willie Thinn (Idwella); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
