Sister Cora Lee Tucker

Sister Cora Lee Tucker was born December 2, 1935 in San Antonio, Florida to the late Rudolph and Rachel Washington. Sister Tucker enjoyed life and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, San Antonio, Florida where she served for many years. Sister Tucker was preceded in death by: her children, Charles (bobo) Washington and Lelamae Blake; granddaughter, Shayla Philips; sisters; Mozella, Arlean, Surella and Rosa Mae; and her brother, Rufus. Sister Tucker departed this life on March 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  She is survived: by her children, Patricia Washington, Mildred Cowart, Valerie Ansley, Mary Rainey, Willie Rainey Jr, James Rainey and Jerome Rainey; grandchildren, Harry, April, Harriet, Rokisha, Ronell, Davon, Myron, JerMeka, Lanase, Kaylissa, Tyler, Aamir, Aaliyah, Raelien, Savanna, James Jr, Shakala, Kiara, Olivia and Jamyra; sister, Ethel Joyner of Miami Florida; brother, Earl Washington of Dade City Florida, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
