Rosezinnia (Hanner) Gaylor was born on March 11, 1939, to her late parents, Ned Sr. and Flowers (Bostic) Hanner. Affectionately known by many as “Rosezina”, “Ro”, or “Rose”, she attended Moore-Mickens High School (formerly Moore Academy) in Dade City, Florida, Pasco County’s first African American school. Upon graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL where she lived until her passing on March 29, 2024. She is preceded in death by her son, Darryl; parents, Ned Sr. and Flowers; sisters, Neddie and Mary; and brothers, John, Charles, Paul, William, and Ned Jr. She leaves to celebrate her life, her son, Frederick; grandchildren, Dushun, Devyn, Taniya, and Joseph; sisters, Viola and Ethel; sister-in-law, Patrice; and a host of family and close friends. Rosezina will be dearly missed by many who loved and knew her. Her family extends a special thanks for every thought, prayer, and act of kindness during this time of their bereavement.
