Robert Beasley Sr.

Robert Beasley Sr. was born on November 22, 1945 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late Johnnie Beasley and Mary Emma Clemons.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Theodore Clemons and his sisters George Ann Brown and Ella Francis Clemons.  In 1968, Robert moved to Florida, landing a position at Saint Leo  College/University as a Security Officer, retiring with 30 years of service. Robert was a faithful member of Abiding Word Ministries under the leadership of his eldest son, Robert Beasley Jr.  On Saturday, October 24, 2020, God called Robert home to rest.  Robert leaves to cherish his memories; his wife of 40 years, Wilma Beasley of Zephyrhills, FL; seven sons, Robert Beasley Jr. (Gwendolyn), Reginald Roberts Sr. (Deborah), Eric Beasley of Zephyrhills, FL, Tommie Beasley (Nikita) of Tangipahoa, Louisiana, Rick Beasley (Nikki), Willie Beasley (Vonette) of Dade City, FL and Ulysses Larry (Quii’Qquanice) of Georgia; four daughters, Diane Beasley of Tupelo, Mississippi, Felicia Beasley-Thomas, LeKeisha Giles of Zephyrhills, FL and Natera Giles of Dade City, FL; a sister, Jessica Beasley of Tampa, FL; a brother, Jesse Clemons (Gwen) of Cleveland, MS; two special nephews, Rodney Clemons and  Jerome Clemons of Tampa, FL; and  a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren,  nephews, nieces (all family members) and friends.
