Sister Priscilla Idella Irving was born October 24, 1954 in Dade City, Florida to the late Purcell Edwards and the late Mamie Irving. Priscilla attended the public school system of Pasco County where she met and made many friends. She went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2024. Priscilla accepted Christ in 1992 and joined New Jerusalem Church of God, whose name later changed to New Life Family Church in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Jesse B. McClendon. In 2023, she joined In The Place of God Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Dometa Mitchell. She served until her health declined. She was a member of the Usher Ministry at In The Place of God Ministries and was an active member of the Ladies of Elegance Sister’s Ministry. She was the proud mother of two daughters. She was employed as a childcare sitter for several families during her career. Priscilla was preceded in death by her daughter, Latasha Irving; sister, Mary Hester Sterling; and brothers, Lawerence Irving, James Irving, and Alvada Irving. Priscilla leaves to cherish her memories; her loving and devoted daughter, Lamametha Sanders of Orlando, FL; sister, Willie Pearl Irving; grandchildren, Shamara McKnight, Tiera Irving, Tashara Sanders, Tyreasha Sanders. Travone Sanders (Briana) and Scottie McMullen; great-grandchildren, Jahmual, Alijah, Ariana, and Imoni; godchildren, Charles Larome Newsome; best friend, Maxine Tucker; favorite cousin, Dometa Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
