William (Bill) Hanner was born July 30, 1950 to Flowers & Ned Hanner Sr, in Dade City, FL. At the age of 23, William was redeemed, baptized, and became a member of St. Peter's Apostolic Church of Dade City under the Pastorship of his Mother Elder Flowers B. Hanner. He graduated in 1970 from Mickens High School. On September 5, 1981, he married Maudrienne Patrice Hall and to that union was added their only child in October of 1982. He was employed at Withlacoochee River Electric Company and retired after 25 years of employment. William was a long time resident of Dade City, a dedicated and faithful Pastor of At The Church Of The Living Christ for many years. William had a great love and admiration for his family, church members, and was well known in his community. He really loved music, his grandkids, and his grandson's passion for football. On Friday, December 18, 2020, William answered the call to be with his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his parents Flowers and Ned Hanner Sr.; his brothers, Charles Hanner and John Burgess; his sisters, Mary Agnes Lee and Neddie-Lee Hanner and special niece Alicia Hamm. He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife of 39 years, Maudrienne Patrice Hanner; his only child, Meisha Lanae Hanner; his grandchildren, Javion Hanner and Meiari Nash; his sisters, Rosezinna Gaylor, Viola Vaughns and Ethel Lean Perry; his brothers, Paul Hanner, Sr. and Ned Hanner, Jr.; supportive nieces and nephew, Tonya McClendon, Elvera Lee, Paula Clark and Terry Hanner; his goddaughters, Deaisha Gray, Robbin Phillips,Valarie Pryor and Vaness Roberts; his godson, Tobias Roberts; his godgrandsons, Calvin Samuel and Kavbion Marbrar; devoted and long time friends, Henry Mathis and Benny Parker; and a host of loving family members and friends.
