Pastor Angela Cassandra Pierre-Charles, known to her family as, "Autie Angie" was born November 19, 1959 to the late James and Remilda Hill in Dade City, Florida, and her biological father, Gus Willie Celeve. She attended the Pasco County School System and was a graduate of Pasco Comprehensive High School in 1977. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from St. Leo College, in 1983. At an early age, Angela confessed and accepted Christ. She grew up as a member of Church of God in Christ, Dade City, Florida from birth. She also volunteered and served on the Advisory Board for Social Workers for 10 years at the college. On July 14, 1984, Pastor Pierre Charles joined in holy matrimony to Luc Pierre-Charles Sr,. Pastor Pierre-Charles played an intricate role in the Gospel music group, Joy Ensemble. In October of 1994, Pastor Pierre-Charles accepted the high calling upon her life and was appointed Pastor by Bishop Moses Williams of the Pure Church of Righteousness. On October 21, 1998, the Church was renamed Miracle Tabernacle Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc. affiliated with Our Daily Bread Gospel Tabernacle, Inc. headquarters, in Statenville, Georgia under Bishop Daniel Smart, Sr., Prelate Bishop. Pastor Pierre-Charles is the founder of O.D.B.G.T.'s National Women's Conference and has served in the capacity of O.D.B.G.T.'s National Women's Conference President and First District Ruling Elder of North Florida and South Georgia. She also served as coordinator of the O.D.B.G.T.'s National Founders Day. She spent 30 years in the field as a Social Worker, serving in various capacities. She has worked with pregnant teens, people with disabilities. She worked for the Florida Department of Corrections at Zephyrhills Correctional Institution for 17 years as Education Department Supervisor. Later working at Sumter and Lake Correctional Institution as a counselor, Placement Transition Specialist, and Probation Officer, helping numerous young people in transition to pursue education and encouraging them in the faith. Pastor Pierre-Charles spent a lifetime mentoring, praying for and helping those incarcerated. "Angela" was often referred to as the family historian, she loved her family's deep, rich heritage and was extremely loyal to her family roots. She enjoyed being committed to the committee of all family reunions, and always taught the younger generations, the values of where we come from. Pastor Pierre-Charles had a strong sense of devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Morris James Peavy. Pastor Pierre-Charles answered the call from her heavenly Father and transitioned to her eternal resting place, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a loving and devoted husband, Deacon Luc Pierre-Charles Sr. of Dade City, FL; sons, Luc Pierre-Charles Jr,, Andre Pierre-Charles (Latrice Marbra) of Zephyrhills, FL, Christopher Pierre-Charles (Muzaila) of Dade City, FL, Corey Pierre-Charles, Harris Pierre-Charles, Edson Pierre-Charles, Carl-Henry Pierre Charles and Luckner Pierre-Charles; daughter, Sylvania Pierre-Charles; two grandchildren, Luc Pierre-Charles, III and Miracle Pierre-Charles; sisters, Clemonstein Blanford of Spring Hill, FL, Vera Redmond, Mamie A. Horne and Gussie Whittaker; brothers, Eric Peavy Sr. and Johnathan James Cuthbert; one aunt, Dorothy Jean Hill of Tampa, FL; god children, Laketha Morris, Robert Beavis, Cyrus Hansberry, Andrina Lusane, De'Shay Washington and Darnell Jenkins; a very special beloved niece, Gloria Yvonne Sanon and Floretta Dawkins; a very special and devoted nephew, Kevin Ramos Sr; favorite cousins, the late Walter James Blanford and Lewis "Bubba" Lowder; special friends, Mother Earlean Scotland, Wendy Goins and the late Mother Connie Brown; special friends and coworkers, Jacquie Sanders and Janae Boyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Church family.
