Ms. Janet Ann Jones

Janet Ann Jones was born February 28, 1954 to the late Warren and Lillian Jones of Dania Beach, Florida.  She grew up and attended school in Broward County, Florida and graduated from Hollywood Hills High School.  She was a free spirit and ahead of her time, growing up in the post-Civil Rights era.  She had a love of travel and was always eager for the next trip.  Mrs. Lillian Jones had 8 children in total:  seven girls, Cecile, Patricia, Phyllis, Alma & twins Annette and Audrey Jones;  one brother, Warren Jones Jr.  Preceding her in death are: her parents, Warren and Lillian Jones, siblings. Cecile Taylor, Warren Jones, Jr (Boo), and the twins, Annette and Audrey Jones.  Always willing to help anyone, she moved to Dade City, Florida over ten years ago to assist her sister Patricia and joined the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church family.  Janet loved the Lord and read her Bible daily.  Janet’s great love was family, and she never missed a holiday gathering with friends and family. Janet departed this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.   She leaves behind: her remaining sisters, Patricia Jones Armstrong, Phyllis Jones and Alma Taylor; and  a host of nieces, nephews, and great and “great-great” nieces and nephews.
