Ms. Deirdra Renee Scott, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, nana and friend was born on February 11, 1970 in Dade City, Florida to the late Townsend Scott, Jr and Neudie Scott. Deirdra was brought up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, which included her attendance at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist. Deirdra attended Pasco High School, where she graduated with the class of 1988. She touched the lives of many throughout her life, as she dedicated herself to a long career of over 20 years with the Pasco County School System. Deirdra was passionate about her lineage and chose to relocate to Alabama, to remain close and cultivate relationships with her family. There, she resided in Goshen, Alabama, until her health begin to decline. She valued her “Scott, Tucker and Pelton Cousins”. She was proceeded in death by: her father, Townsend Scott, Jr.; and sister, Shirleane Scott Ross. Deirdra passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. Her memories will forever be cherished by: her beloved significant other, Mackerlo Sears; children, Randall Scantling, Jr. (Chrissy), Breanna Scantling, and Danielle Scantling; her sister, Shelia Scott (Frank); grandchildren, Zavion Brown, Malaya Scantling, Destiny Robinson, Ava Harris, and Drayson Robinson; her loving and devoted mother, Neudie Scott; aunts, Shirley Ann, Betty, Mary Emma, and Queen Esther; nieces and nephews, Jermaine Ross, Shantay Gaskins (Cornelius), Jamal Ross, Cory Wilson, Krystal Ross, Cornell Wilson, Jonathon Ross, and Courtnee Scott; other special loving relatives, Delores, Allison Scantling, Treniece Farr, James Pressley, Sr., Jacob Pugh, Sr., and Elvera Lee; her Fur Baby “LO” ; as well as other precious family and friends.
