Mrs. Delsia Smith Obituary

Delsia Lorraine Smith was born August 11, 1951 in Dade City, Florida to the late Ernest William (Jack) Johnson and Vivian (Lewis) Johnson, into the Lewis Lucas Johnson Family. She attended the Moore Academy School and Mickens High School in Dade City. She attended the Family Church, St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She married Peter Smith of Orlando Florida, with whom, she had two children, Peter Smith Jr and Antonette (Toni) Smith. Later with Erwin Jerome Johnson, Delsia gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Vivian Charmaine Lisbon. She worked for many years for the Lykes Pasco Fruit Packing Company. She was preceded also in death by four sisters : Hazel, Patricia, Linda and Charmaine; two brothers, Steve and Gary; and Her Uncle, Andrew Lewis, II and Aunt, Martha Lewis; Her Grandparents: Andrew Lewis, Sr and Willougby (BeBe) Lewis and great grandfather Rev. John Early Lucas. Her nieces and nephews: Pamela, Marva, Curtis (Rusty), Gregory and Leola. Delsia enjoyed spending time with her family, watching old movies, (especially Gun Smoke) and walking. She was well known in the community. She had a sweet, kind spirit, knew no strangers as she always greeted people with a smile and a kind demeanor. April 27, 2025, Delsia was called to rest and be at peace, with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Delsia leaves to cherish precious memories her loving daughter, Vivian Lisbon (Joseph); granddaughter, Makayla Lisbon; her brother, Micheal (Sally); sister, Annette, Melody and Tanya; first cousins, Andrea (Paul),  Angela (Imani), and Andrew III (Lerolyn); 1st generation nieces and nephews, LaFran, Cheryl, Lucy, Marvin (Chubby), Cisco, Cecil, Shawn, Crystal, Geraldine (Linn), Michael Imani, Richelle, Meredith and Garland; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
