Mrs. Betty Clower was born November 20, 1948 in New Madrid, Missouri to the late Andrew Grant and Delia Neal. At an early age she moved to Dade City, Florida where she resided for over 60 plus years. She received her formal education in the Pasco County School System, and graduated from Moore Mickens Academy. Her hobbies included, watching Lifetime Movies, reminiscing with her neighbor while gardening, joking around, and attending her home church. Betty was an avid member of Life Harbor Church where she worked and served in many capacities, under the leadership of her son-in-love, Pastor Willie Clark of Zephyrhills, Florida. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Johnnie Clower, Sr.; her grandparents, Joseph and Laura Forest; her step-daughter, Marilyn Robinson; and other dearly departed love ones. Betty transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, May 23, 2025. Betty leaves to cherish precious memories with: her children, Denise McKenzie and husband, Henry McKenzie of Leesburg, Florida, Cynthia Clark and husband, Pastor Willie Clark of Dade City, Florida, and Aaron Clower and wife, Latalia Clower of Spring Hill, Florida; step-children, Brenda Williams and husband, Mike Williams of Bushnell, FL, Harold Clower and wife, Felicia Clower of Zephyrhills, Florida, Johnnie Clower, Jr. and wife, Patricia Clower of Dade City, Florida, Gina Stephens of Tampa, Florida, and Jessica Johnson of Dade City, Florida; grandchildren, Joseph Wilson, Azariah Wilson, Destiny Wilson, Genesis Vickers, X'avia Belton, Deniscia Middlebrooks, De'Naya Middlebrooks, De'Nylah Middlebrooks, Malcom Belton, Kendarious Prince, Kenyari Prince, Aaron Clower, Jr., Natalia Clower, Marquan Norman, and Tyrese Norman; brother, Willie Neal and wife, Marie Neal of Tallahassee, Florida; sister, Ida Mae Neal, of Dade City, Florida; brother-in-law, Faris Mustafa and wife, Lutilda of Summerville, South Carolina, Willie Clower (Florinda Reynolds) of Lakeland, Florida; god daughters, Carolyn McKay, Carolyn Smith, Donna Lukens, Brittany Pope, and Ya'Shicka Simmons; god son, Khamari Penix; special best friend and neighbor, Eugene Hicks; special sister in love, Anita Owens; longtime neighbors and friends, Francis Hughes, Pastor Annie McKnight, Marilyn Sampson, Gertrude Oliver, Elois Adams, Earlene Scotland, Barbara Richardson, Marvell Robinson, Chief Apostle Saundra Coward, Ralph Zayas, Maria Turner, Phoebe Quarterman, John and Dorothy Stewart, and Life Harbor family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other sorrowing family and friends.
