Mr. Outha James

Outha James was born August 3, 1954 to the late Oscar Hicks and the late Lora Dell James.  He received his formal education in Hernando County School System, where he met and made many dear friends.  Outha enjoyed life and spent time with his family and friends.  Outha departed this life suddenly on Friday, August 1, 2025.  He was preceded in death by: his brothers, Patrick McCray, Kenneth Hicks and Robert Hicks.  Outha leaves to cherish special memories with; his loving children, Sharita Bussey, Robert Kelso, Jessica Nelson and two additional loving children to mourn his passing; brothers, Aaron McCray, Sr., Willie James, Charles Fredrick McCray, Samuel McCray, Anthony James, Marvin Hicks, Harvey Hicks, Michael Hicks, Zachary Hicks, and Derrick Wright; sisters, Zina McCray, Carolyn Milton, Diana Burden, Phyllis Bell, Terry Brown, Loretta Wright, Patricia Wright, Catherine Wright, and Stephanie Tompkins; special friend, Bridget Johnston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
