Arthur Bee Brundidge, Jr. ”Sambo” was born July 3, 1970 in Lakeland Florida, to the late Arthur Bee Brundidge, Sr. and the late Sarah Jane Harley Brundidge. Arthur was raised in Dade City, Florida and received his formal education through the Pasco County School System. He later furthered his education at UEI Technical College in Tampa, Florida. Arthur had a passion for football, playing right tackle for Pasco Pirates at Pasco High School, Dade City, Florida and was a huge fan of the Miami Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After moving to Tampa, in the early 90’s, Arthur met and married the love of his life, Charmen Boyd on May 17, 2002. Arthur worked as a delivery driver for the Tampa Tribune, Pizza Hut, and Sutton Distributing Company. He received his CDL and became an over the road truck driver for Burlington Motor Carriers. Later, receiving his Hazmat training, Arthur drove gasoline tankers for Energy Dispatch, Ackee Petroleum, Tank Wagon Transport, and Kenan Advantage Group, where he retired from in 2020. On Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 6:00 a.m., Arthur was called home to rest, surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Arthur is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Charmen Brundidge; sister, Sandra Brundidge Craig and husband, Hershel of Dade City, Florida; brother, Tony Brundidge of Odessa, Texas; nephew, Camron Craig of Dade City, Florida; a long time friend, Philip Watson of Zephyrhills, Florida; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
