Makilah Armani Smiley was born July 1, 2013 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Larence Graham and Candra Smiley. Kilah was a special person who we were blessed with for twelve years. With all of Kilah’s life challenges, she loved and lived life to the fullest. She attended West Elementary School until she became ill. While going through treatment, she made it to 7th grade at Stewart Middle School. Kilah loved being in charge and she would always let you know that she loved Jesus and her family. Makilah was an entrepreneur, she was always trying to make money (LOL). She made cookies and sold them to buy Christmas presents for the family. While she was a patient at the Ronald McDonald House, she would cook for the other patients. Kilah's smile could melt your heart. She gave the best hugs and always said “I love you”. She loved to play games and beat you every time. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Makilah was a proud member of Abiding Word Ministries Zephyrhills, Florida, which she enjoyed attending with her family. She was preceded in death by: grandparents, MaryAnn Bertram, Brenda Graham, and Clarence Adams; brother, Tyson Smiley; and uncle, Antonio Smiley. On Sunday, April 26, 2026 Makilah passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Makilah is survived by: her loving and devoted parents, Lawrence Graham, Sr. and Candra Smiley; siblings, Lawrence Graham, Jr., Cayden Palumbo, Alysia Graham, LaRiah Graham, LaRissa Graham, LaRilee Graham, and Milah Smiley; grandparents, Herman Smiley, Sr., and Sara Smiley; uncles, Herman Smiley, Jr., Teon Black, Tyrone Graham, Norman Graham, Sr. Bobby Devonshire, Clarence Adams, Jr., Kantrell Kennedy, Malcolm Godson, David Felder, Eugene Felder, and Alfred Adams; aunts, Ciera Graham, Helen Adams, Addie Adams-Hall, Charmain Black, Nikyia Morgan, Erika Grant, Kimberly Kennedy, and Lizzy Price; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and other sorrowing relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
