Millicent was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the Late James McGrew and Thelma Broadnax McGrew. She attended Douglas Elementary School in Inkster, Michigan and Ketttering School in Detroit. She graduated from Southeastern High School in 1966. Millicent worked for General Motorsr for several years before becoming a private duty nurse. At a young age, she became a child of God, serving on the Usher Board and in the Kitchen. The Lord called his child home on Sunday morning, February 25, 2018. “Midget” loved the Lord. She also loved to crochet blankets and loved to shop. Her favorite outing was to go on cruises with family and friends. She always had her hair and nails done, looking good all of the time with a pleasant smile on her face. In 1982, Millicent married the love of her life, Edward C. Paige of 35 years. To this union, 5 children were born, Orlando McGrew (Linda) of Detroit, Michigan, Tambrus McGrew of Clermont, Florida, Angela Paige and Edward Paige Jr. both of Detroit, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lolita Paige; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Seleta McGrew; 3 brothers, Larry McGrew, Timothy McGrew, Ernest McGrew all of Detroit, Michigan; 2 sisters-in-law, Annette Paige and Roxanne Paige of Detroit, Michigan; she was preceded in death by 1 sister-in-law, Berry McGrew; 2 brothers-in-law, William Paige Jr. and Bobby Cunningham; 1 brother-in-law who has preceded her in death, Elgie Paige II; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, family and friends
