Michael Lee Dennis, Sr.

Mr. Michael Lee Dennis Sr. was born on October 27, 1964 in Ashburn, Georgia to MacArthur Dennis  and the late Daisy Lee Graham. Michael was known to many as “Mike D” and “Cooney”. He attended Pasco High School. Michael’s love for cars started at an early age and grew stronger over the years. He began working at 98 Auto and Citrus Chrysler dealerships, which started his career as a Mechanic.  In 2008, Michael relocated to Maine, where he met and made many friends. He later became an Auto-Technician and worked at Coldbrook Mitsubishi in Skowhegan, Maine. Michael also loved fishing, and often spent weekends enjoying peacefulness and catching big fish. Michael will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.  Michael answered the Master’s call on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in  Augusta, Maine and  entered his eternal rest. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Daisey Lee Graham; and grandparents, James and Ethel Graham. Michael is survived by: his children, Latosha Dennis, Latesha Dennis, Lakiesha Dennis, Benjamin Miller, Ebony Streeter, Michael Dennis Jr, and Devin Dennis; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; father, MacArthur Dennis; stepfather, Nathaniel Graham; 1 niece, Tiara Irving; 1 nephew, Michael Roberts; 1 brother, Arthur Dennis; a special sister, Marion Derisma; a special aunt, Martha Barrett; special cousins, Diane Lewis London, Lenwood Smith, Walter Davis Jr., Steve McKnight, and Shirley Brooks; special friends, Hercules Hicks, Steve Russ, Julius Hill, and Ken Petran; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, sorrowing relatives and friends.
