Mrs. Mella Marie Doctor was born June 30, 1961 in Madison, Florida to the Late J.W. Parker and the Late Louise Parker. Mrs. Doctor was educated in the Pasco County School System. She worked for Metal Industries for numerous years until becoming disabled. Mrs. Doctor was a member of the New Bethel AME Church where she served on the Usher board, sang in the choir, was a Trustee, helped with the Food Ministry, Missionary and Stewardess. She loved dancing, shopping, her flowers, and having a good time with her family and friends. Mrs. Doctor enjoyed helping others and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Prince Doctor Jr.; sisters, Helen Bates and Melba Parker; and brother, J.W. Parker Jr. Mrs. Doctor is survived by her daughter, Tyrhonda Grant (Troy); grandchildren, Kayla Grant, Mia Grant, Layla Grant, Jade Grant, and Londyn Grant; stepchildren, Walter Doctor, Joseph Doctor III (Leila), Christopher Doctor, Loretta Burns, Joanne Dennard, and Francis Thomas (Rouzard); sisters, Klemetis Parker-Pye (Jeffery) and Lavon Parker-Pearson (Anthony); brother, Ira Parker Sr.; god-daughter, Tawanna Futch; special friends, Minister Alfreda Wheeler and Sister Laura Thomas; like sons/relatives, Tony Tyson and Phillip Parker; aunts, Cora Royale(Pete) and Karen Buford; and a host of other sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.
