Lula Mae Williams was born September 18, 1951 in Marlboro County South Carolina to the Late Martha Williams and the Late James Williams Sr. Lula attended and graduated from Marlboro County High School. She worked various jobs before moving to Florida where she met her life partner, Thomas Gainey, AKA ("Catman"). Lula worked for Lykes Pasco for many years then onto Heritage Park Nursing Home for 11 years, where she later retired. She was loved by all that knew her and never met a stranger. Lula leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted children, Robert Williams (Wanda); her loving and devoted daughter, Tonya Moore; a loving and devoted companion, Thomas "Catman" Gainey; four grandchildren, Courtney, Crystal, Dalvin and Jasmine; eight great-grandchildren, Miles, Brittish, J’yani, Nyla, Mega, Elway,Jaide and Jaslynn; siblings, Eddie, Lonnie, and Betty. She was preceded in death by: her mother and her father; her sister, Trisha; brother, "Sonnyboy", Robert, and James; and a host of friends and sorrowing relative that will miss her dearly.
