Kermit Keith Cales Sr., 57, of Dade City, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. Kermit was born on August 31, 1966, in Charleston, West Virginia. He was known for his exceptional kindness, humor, and bravery. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Kermit was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by many. Keith is survived by: his fiancée, Deborah Mistretta; his children, his oldest son, Kermit Keith Cales Jr,; daughter, Kimberly Cales-Catlett; step-children, Angelina and Vincent Mistretta; sisters, Leadeana Cales, Peggy Mitchell, Roxanna Parrish, and Victoria Holderman; aunt, Ida Mae Neal; dearest friend, and family, Lynda Rhoades; and 15 cherished grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Cales and Linda Jarvis, and his son, Michael Mistretta;
A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held at Homosassa Church of God on Saturday, August 31, coinciding with what would have been his 58th birthday.
