Kenneth "Deon" Brooks

Kenneth “Deon” Brooks of Citrus County, Florida, passed away on March 18, 2023; a week before his 44th birthday.  Kenneth was born on March 31, 1979 to his mother, Faye Brooks and step-father, Timothy Dukes in Brooksville, Florida. Deon attended Lecanto High School, and went on to pursue vocational jobs such as construction, lawn care, and various other jobs.  Kenneth enjoyed making people laugh even when his pain was buried deep inside. Everyone he touched will cherish his smile and laughter forever.  In 2017, he lost his daughter, Aaliyah Rogers to lupus, now he no longer rests on earth but in the sweet arms of his beloved at the gates of Heaven.  Deon leaves his memories with his loving parents, Faye Brooks (Timothy); his sisters, Pam and Tasha Brooks; his brother, Timothy “TK” Davis; his youngest daughter, Jayleeana Smith; and other devoted family and friends.
