It is with great sadness that the family of Julio Guillermo Norat, known to friends as "Guillo", announces his passing on Friday, August 14, 2020, at the age of 84 years old. Julio will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marta; his children; and many grandchildren. Julio was a man of many trades. Everyone who knew him as the man to fix all. He was a man who didn’t mind putting in elbow grease and working hard to upkeep his land, keep his family happy and ensure life was enjoyed by everyone around him. Julio served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was proud to have served his country. For fun, Julio spent a lot of his time playing dominoes and being the gregarious man everyone knew him to be. Julio was known for playing dominoes, winning tournaments and meeting a lot of great long time friends through the love of the game. He was the candid "jokester" and even to his last moment he continued to make the ones around him laugh with his humor. To celebrate the life of Julio a graveside ceremony will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, August 18th.
*Due to the current Pandemic of the Coronavirus we ask that everyone attending funerals, memorials and gravesides please wear masks and practice social distancing during all ceremonies. These rules are put into place to follow the current CDC guidlines and to help keep everyone safe.
