Jovante Fayonne Mincy

Jovante Fayonne Mincy was born, October 28, 1994 in Dade City, Florida to the union of Jolinda Mincy and the Late Eddie Mincy. Jovante attended the public school system of Pasco County, where she met and made many friends. She was a very loving and kind spirited person who will be sorely missed by her friends and loved ones. She was a lifelong member of Church of God in Christ Dade City, where she attended from her youth. She was a former member of the Sunshine Band and the Youth choir. Jovante loved attending church, where she gained her faith in God. She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Mincy; and her daughter, Audrey Serrato. On Monday, April 18, 2022 God called Jovante home to be at rest. Jovante is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Jolinda Mincy; her brothers, Eddie Mincy Jr. and Kyre Mincy; her sisters, Katrina Mincy and Kashion Mincy; grandmother, Willie Mae Richardson; a very special niece, Danielle (Donatello) Mitchell; a special aunt, Carol McPhail; her godmother, Rolisa Davis; a special friend, Josh Bratcher; best friend, Trilanda Monea; favorite cousins, Myideshia McPhail, Franisha McPhail and Loren Harris; 15 nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented necessary procedures during Visitations, Funeral Ceremonies, Gravesides, and other public and private ceremonies.  We do ask that all visitors of these services to please continue to wear your masks and please remember to social distance.  These new policies may be inconvenient, but due to the severity of the virus, we ask that everyone be considerate, patient, and safe with others as we try to get through this most difficult time.  Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.  

*If you are attending a Graveside service or an Outdoor Celebration you are welcomed to bring your own chair as seating will be limited!  We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time. We pray that everyone stays safe and cooperative with the current CDC rules.
