Obituary

In a land far far away, was born the son of Ruth Naomi Williams and Reverend Willie Joe Williams in Syosset, New York.  As the 6th child of seven children, he left this world too soon on August 20, 2023.  Joseph spent his last years of school in Babylon NY where he loved to play basketball and met the mother of his oldest daughter Aalyah Williams.  Growing up in a religious family he had no other choice but to attend his father’s church regularly where he played drums and even sang in the church choir.  Joseph proved to be a hard worker as he loved working with his hands he worked for Entenmann's in Long Island, NY until moving to Zephyrhills. FL where he worked for Zephyrhills Water then later on found his love of building and electrical work.  Living in this new environment he had a big heart making friends fast through his love of entertainment and outgoing spirit.  Where he met his younger daughter's mother Arkela Johnson who remembers him as a good father with a healthy appetite especially for her oxtails.  He enjoyed watching movies and series he would share with everyone as he quoted different lines or recommended a really good movie or show to watch.  No matter what, he would be the first one to show up to the bar-b-que, party or the hospital and the last one to leave.  Joseph was preceded in death by his daughter Lily Chanel Williams, his father, Willie Joe Williams, his three sisters Indy Jamison, Janice Moody and Tammy Hayes.  Joseph life and cherish memories will continue to live on through the memories of his daughter Alayna Williams; his mother: Ruth Williams; his two sisters: Naomi Olubodun-Horton and husband James Horton and Mary Williams-Trammell and husband Curtis Trammell Jr; his two brothers: Israel Williams and Jerry Williams; Plus a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Rest In Peace son, brother, father, uncle and friend.  May the Lord watch between you and me while we're absent one from another, Amen

1.Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2.In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3
