Joseph Smith Obituary

Joseph Lee Smith was born September 23, 1965 in Dade City, Florida to the late Bessie Jean Smith and Jake Parker.  Joseph was educated in Pasco County Schools of Zephyrhills, Florida.  He would always say that he was a "Bulldog" for life.  He loved working with his hands, on cars, bikes, and yardwork.  Those who knew him knew that if you ask him to do anything, he'd do it to the best of his ability.  Joseph was known to family and friends by "Man".  His favorite words were "I bet not".  He enjoyed family gatherings, dancing and enjoyed the outdoors listening to music.  He had such a big heart and a beautiful smile.  Life will never be the same without him.    On November 1, 2023, Joseph answered the Master's call and received his ultimate healing.  His parents, Bessie and Jake; two uncles, James Parker and Freddy Parker; two sisters, Anna Bell Smith-Roshell and Claradia Bradberry; and one brother, Jerry Smith have all preceded him in death.  He leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Brandon Searight; grandchildren, Brandon and Lavon Searight;  his loving siblings, Caletha Hamilton, Cherral Knight (Early), Angie Smith (Charles) of Ft. Meyers; Victor Parker of Georgia, Mary Berry, Armentha Finley (Walter), Joe Lee Bradberry and Willie Lee Bradberrry; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews: Joeann Williams, Carrie Graham (Larry) of South Carolina, Man of Little Rock, AK, Margaret Mathis (Henry), Frank Parker, Ernestine Presley (Charles), Benny Parker (Mary); a special friends, George Wheeler; special cousins, Ronald Giles, Anissa McKenzie, Ricky Giles, Debra Giles, and Frankie McKenzie.
