On September 1, 1962, God blessed James and Deloris Adams with a baby boy they named Joseph Lee Adams born in Dade City, Florida. Joseph received his education from Pasco County schools and Pasco-Hernando Community College. He was a student athlete in high school sports and an original member of the Nine Devils Baseball Team. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, James and Deloris Adams; brothers, Roosevelt (Sonny) Adams and Willie James Adams; grandparents, Roosevelt and Louisa Moore; grandmother, Willie Marshall; and all of his uncles and aunts. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted friend, Sharon Washington of Dade City, Florida; sons, Joshua Adams Sr. of St. Petersburg, Florida, Deante Drayton of St. Petersburg, Florida and Joseph Adams Jr. of South Carolina; daughters, Nakeita Jordon of South Carolina, Ya’Sheika Adams-Simmons of Dade City, Florida; grandchildren, Joshua Adams Jr., Jeremiah Adams, K’Launi Giles and Aniastaja Adams; brothers, Frank Adams (Isabell) of Dade City, Florida, Alfred Adams (Joyce) of Dade City, Florida, Clarence Adams of Zephyrhills, Florida, Clyde Adams (Sharon) of St. Petersburg, Florida, David Felder (Cynthia) of Lacoochee, Florida, Eugene Felder (Tiffany) of Clearwater, Florida; sisters, Annie Adams Tucker (Frank) of St. Petersburg, Florida, Helen Adams Holt of Dade City, Florida, Addie Adams Hall (Leroy) of Houston, Texas and Gloria Adams Tucker of Zephyrhills, Florida; one aunt, Bertha Marshall of Albany, Georgia; special friends, Mrs. Annie B.
