Johnny Brown Obituary

Johnny Brown was born on March 12, 1957 in San Antonio, FL to the late Mary Jackson Starkes and Robert Brown. Johnny attended school in Pasco County and Hernando County. He worked with Rainbow Nursery for 10 years as a Landscaper. Johnny loved watching and playing sports. His favorite NBA team was the Boston Celtics and his favorite NFL team was the Washington Commanders. Johnny was one of the original 9 Devils baseball team players many years ago. Johnny loved playing cards, dominos, corn hole, listening to music and loved fishing and dancing. During Johnny’s life, all who knew him found him to be a loving person who always had a smile on his face, thru the good and the bad times. On February 4, 2025, while laying in the hospital bed, angels beckoned for Brother Brown to follow them and leave this earthly world. Johnny answered their call. Johnny was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Brown and Mary Jackson Starkes; sister, Helen Brown and Carrie Brown; special cousins, Johnny and Cleo Brown; honored uncle and aunt, Frank H. Johnson and Lizzie D. Johnny leaves to cherish his memories: his sons, Antwion Peyton of Maryland and Donvan Parker of Dade City, FL; grandchildren, Abrianna Peyton of Arkansas, Auvey Peyton of Virginia, Amaya Peyton of North Carolina, Aydrie Peyton of Virginia, Tyahcady Peyton of Maryland; sisters, Soporro Burns-Williams and Elston of Dade City, FL; Roberta Brown of Tampa, FL, Mary Brown of St. Cloud, Ruby Myers of Poinciana, FL, Lisa Brown of Dade City, FL, Stacey Boyce (Garry) of Spring Hill, FL; brothers, Sean Brown of Dade City, FL, Anthony Brown and Rose of Jacksonville, FL, George Burns and Kenecia Burns of Coccoa, FL, Theo Burns of Dade City, FL, Quenton Eiland of St. Cloud, FL, Andre Johnson of Brandon, FL; 2 bonus daughters, Yvette Price-Marks of Pennsylvania and Chantal Price of Dade City, FL; 1 bonus son, Damonte Parker; aunt, Johnny Mae Lopey; special cousins, Frank Johnson, Maxine Waddell, Cynthia Robinson, Roger Johnson (Angeletta), Rodney Johnson and Beverly, Eric Cummings and Lisa, Joseph Cummings, and Ronald Heard; best friends, Robert Waddy, Gayle Jefferson, Jane Graham, Ida Mae O’Neal and family, Charles “Chan” Oliver, Gloria Jean Adams (deceased); and a special friend, Brenda Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
