Joe Lee Strickland, Sr. was born July 2, 1944 in Widener, Arkansas to the Late Henry W. Strickland and the Late Ollie Mae Graham. Joe attended the public schools of Arkansas and attended Lincoln Senior High School. Joe was employed with Lykes Pasco Fruit Packing Company until his retirement. He was a very fun and loving person who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Joe was an avid football and basketball fan. He departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Dade City, Florida. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Joyce Strickland; grandson, Shawn Johnson; and granddaughter, Deshawn Strickland. Joe Lee is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 13 years, Sandrea Strickland of Dade City, Florida; 8 devoted children, Joe Lee Strickland Jr (Georgia), Latressa Strickland, Eddie A. Strickland, Tyrone Strickland, Daniel Strickland (Michelle), Barbara Strickland, Dorothy Strickland, and Tamiko Vaughns; 3 step-children, Janarrion Sirmons, Brittney Sirmons and Qushawna Hamilton; 37 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Ruby Payne (Dennis) Elizbeth Bess (Adam), Henry Strickland (Chau Le), Yjuania Jenkins (Eliax Jr.) and Dewitt Strickland (Carla); mother-in-law, Arnetha Sirmons; special friends, James McKnight, Gertha Sims, Sandra Washington and Marquis Hilery; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Masks must be worn during every Visitation, Funeral, Graveside or Memorial service, this assures that everyone is safe. We also ask that everyone practice social distancing at all times. If you are attending a public graveside service, we ask that you bring your own chair and provide your own water bottle, should you need either of the two.
