Jasper Futch Obituary

Brother Jasper Jack Futch (Jack) age 85 departed from life on Saturday, December 25, 2021 in Dade City, Florida. He converted to Christianity at a young age and was a member of Greater Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Sumter County public school system. He worked for almost forty years as a heavy equipment operator for Cone Brothers Construction and Florida Crush Stone. He is preceded in death by his parents (Rev. Luther Futch and Pearlie Bright Floyd), his siblings (Elnora Thompson, Daisy Ware, David Futch, Sarah Key, Johnny Futch and Thomas Kenny Futch), his children (Antonio Lorenzo Futch, “Lolo”, Thomas Jack Futch, “T.J.” and Antoinette Maria Futch-Woods, “Nette”). Brother Jasper (Jack) leaves to cherish his fond and humorous memories: two devoted daugthers, Jacqueline “Jacquie” Sanders (Rick); Roberta McNabb (Allen); one stepson, Limuel Pickett; two brothers-in-law, Robert McFadden (Betty) and James Crenshaw; one sister-in-law, Roberta Williams (Robert). Seven grandchildren; Tawana Futch; TeShanna Futch; Brittany Futch; Terry McNabb; Cameron Sanders, Amanda McNabb Kennedy (Raymond), Edner Dely, Jr., Nicholas Barkley; Seven great-grandchildren, Taivon McNabb, Aaliyah McNabb, Jayshawn Harris, DeShun Walls, Carter Sanders, Asher Sanders. Special friends, John Henry, Albert Harpe, James Phelps, Jerrell Ansley Coleman and Sarah Kunkle; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

 

 

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented necessary procedures during Visitations, Funeral Ceremonies, Gravesides, and other public and private ceremonies.  We do ask that all visitors of these services to please continue to wear your masks and please remember to social distance.  These new policies may be inconvenient, but due to the severity of the virus, we ask that everyone be considerate, patient, and safe with others as we try to get through this most difficult time.  Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.  

*If you are attending a Graveside service or an Outdoor Celebration you are welcomed to bring your own chair as seating will be limited!  We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time. We pray that everyone stays safe and cooperative with the current CDC rules.
