James Evans Jr.

James Evans Jr. affectionately known to many as "Peanut", was born on January 27, 1962, in Dade City, Florida to the late Evelyn Williams. Peanut enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. On September 26, 2022, God saw fit to close his loving eyes and called Peanut home to rest. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the community. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife Tomecia Evans; children, Halimah Thomas, Jonathan Johnson, Sharell (Steven) Williams, James Evans III, and Michael Evans;  aunts Eadie Smith and Rose (Sinclair) Tucker; Uncle Samuel (Vanessa) Williams; 25 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of loving cousins and other sorrowing friends.
