Helen L. Bryant was born in Twin Lake, Florida on February 12, 1935 to the Late Dean Anderson and the Late Rebecca Robles. Helen received her education in the public school system of Hernando County and Pasco-Hernando Community College. After living in Hillsborough and Dade Counties, she relocated to Pasco County where she worked for the Dade City Police Department and later transitioned into the Pasco County Sheriffs Office, until retirement. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she served as Youth Director, Junior Choir Director, a member of the Culinary Committee and numerous other departments and committees. She was a proud lifetime member of the Florida Sheriffs Association. Helen was known as "Big Ma" due to her lovingkindness, total support and roles as family matriarch. On June 29, 2016 our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called her home to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by two children, Kenneth Eugene Hicks and Toni LaFawn Bryant. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: Carolyn Milton, Diana Burden, Marvin Hicks, Sonja Mitchell, Cecilia Clarke, Brigitte Bryant, Lawrence Bryant, Iris Bryant, Tiffony Bryant and Kevin Bryant and grandson, Eugene Bryant whom she raised as her own; two sisters, Dorothy Parris and Queen Ester; 34 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives, church family and friends.
