Hattie J. Mitchell

Sister Hattie J. Mitchell was born in Lakeland, Florida on November 19, 1934 to the Late Theodore and Lucille Holloman. Sister Hattie married the love of her life, John Mitchell, in June of 1956. Mr.  Mitchell passed away in 2004. Sister Mitchell was a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Trilby, Florida. On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, God sent his angels to his flower garden at Advent Health Hospital- Dade City, Florida. Their task was to pick one of his chosen roses, Hattie Joyce Mitchell. Sister Hattie was preceded in death by three siblings: Theodore Holloman II, Barbara Holloman and Jacqueline Baldwin. She leaves to cherish her memories: Six nieces, Valerie Adams (Killeen, TX), Brenda Holloman (Trilby, FL), Keisha Udorji (Tampa, FL), Latoya Garrett (Plant City, FL) and Courtney Baldwin (Orlando, FL), and Whitley Milton (Tampa, FL); Five nephews, Rodney Wallace (Dade City, FL) Theodore Holloman III (Valrico, FL), Michael Holloman Sr. (Dade City, FL), Timmy Holloman Sr. (Orlando, FL), Lonell Holloman Sr. (Zephyrhills, FL), and Ernest Sampson, Jr. (Tampa, FL); a sister-in-law, Lorena Holloman; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends and neighbors.
