Hamilton W. Banks, Jr. was born in Harlem Hospital, Harlem, New York, on July 23, 1930. He transitioned onto glory and peace on January 9, 2024. He is survived by his children, Cecelia, Donna, Hamilton, Marcus and Sheila; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family members. His legacy is written in the stars. He joins his cherished wife, Geraldine, who is receiving him at the gates of heaven with loving open arms and wings. Hamilton's life was full of many accomplishments and awards; from College Professor, to Deacon, to teaching bible lessons, and being a ski instructor. He was an active Civil Rights leader and a large supporter of numerous charities for the benefit of all. His greatest accomplishment was being a great husband, father, grandpa and mentor to all. He believed in being the best you could possibly be, to reach for the stars, and trusting in the process of life. All that knew him loved him and his commitment to life and his zest for knowledge that has been passed down to his family and friends throughout his life's journey. Hamilton will always by loved and cherished forever and ever in our hearts and soul. God will insure you a peaceful journey throughout eternity. We love you.
