Geraldine Twelly ("Peaches") Knight

Geraldine Twelly Knight, known to many people adoringly as "Peaches", born Geraldine Twelly on August 5, 1959 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Willie Mae Larry and the Late Bennie Washington.  As a teenager, Geraldine moved to Florida where she worked at Main Street Cleaners in Dade City for 10 -15 years until she realized her calling to be a CNA.  Peaches loved her new career as a CNA and was faithful at it for 20 years. Upon retiring, she kept working in the field of helping other people as a Home Aide for an additional 5 years.  Peaches loved getting her hands dirty with her plants and loved to watch them grow and flourish.  Being that of a God fearing woman, you could see the love of God radiate throughout her affectionate and genuine smile.  Peaches was a tremendous  support to her family and beloved by all that knew her.  Peaches was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Larry (Clarksdale, MS); and  her sister, Betty Jean Morgan (Dade City, FL).  Peaches leaves to mourn: her loving and devoted husband of 24 years, Martin David Roosevelt Knight; her mother, Willie Mae Twelly Larry; six sisters, Delorse White of Jakson, MS, Ernestine Jenkins of Dade City, FL, Elnora Larry of Dade City, FL, Dirtha Spaights of Zephyrhills, FL, Virginia Maner (Joseph) of Zephyrhills, FL, and Rosetta Washington of Clarksdale, MS; two brothers, Jimmy Larry of Clarksdale, MS and Richard Larry of Dade City, FL; six sisters-in-law, Erma McIntosh (Robin) of Lumberton, FL, Emma Brunson of Staten Island, NY, Jecelyn Colasuonno of Piscataway, NJ, Merle Anderson (Bruce) of Edison, NJ, Millie David of Brooklyn, NY, and Sharon Blackwell of London, England; one brother-in-law, Bernard (Mambo) and Carmen David of Carricaou, Grenada, WI; two beloved sisters, Veronica Wright and Theresa Slagle; as well as 2 beloved brothers, Steven Stewart and Shawn Slagle; not to mention a host of nieces and nephews that she had a hand  in raising and loved each separately in her own individual way.   

*Funeral Ceremony: Milton Funeral Home will adhere to the CDC guidelines during all funeral, graveside and other services.  Seating arrangements may differ slightly at  various churches.  Please correspond with immediate family members to get seating limitations as each church seating and ceremony  will differ.    Upon the approval of the family, there will be a "live streaming" of the funeral ceremony which will be noted on the web page for each deceased person.   We thank you for your cooperation and we do understand that these new guidelines may cause inconveniences to all!
