On December 27, 2014 Gabriel “G” Madera was born to his parents Pamela Brooks and Wilfredo Madera. In 2020, Gabriel was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, he underwent chemo, radiation, and several other treatment options. Despite all the hardship on his body, that little boy ALWAYS had the biggest smile on his face. Gabriel’s last few years were spent in and out of the hospital, but no matter what he did everything in his power to be happy and a normal kid. He was a stellar student, making "A" and "A\B" honor roll even while being in the hospital. He loved going outside and playing his games. Gabriel is the glue that held his family together, with laughter, and always putting everyone in their place. He was so smart, strong, funny, and definitely a character. He kept all us on our toes. He fought a strong fight and never gave up. Recently he was put on hospice due to the treatments not being able to control the cancer from spreading, and not to long after we discovered the cancer had spread to his brain, and even then he still stayed so strong and so positive. He put up such a strong fight these last few years and his strength and bravery is truly admirable. God gained this beautiful angel, and now we have to lay him down to rest. Gabriel joins his grandmother, Mildred Medina; uncle, Kenneth Brooks; cousin, Aaliyah Rogers; and other beloved family in heaven. He leaves his memories behind with his mother, Pam Brooks; father, Wilfredo Madera; brother, Jamarion Madera; sisters, Hannah and Nishanti Madera; aunts, Tasha Brooks; Wilmary Madera Guzman (Eric De Jesus); Lucy Madera (Juan Delgado); uncle, Timothy Davis; grandmother, Faye Brooks; grandfather, Wilfredo Madera (Maria Guzman); and other family and friends.
