Elizabeth Roberts Obituary

Elizabeth (Liz or Gaddy) as she was affectionately called by those that knew and loved her was born August 5, 1951, to James and Mozella Gaddy in Pasco Station where she lived until she was called to her forever home.  Liz loved all her family and would always find ways to gather them for family time.  She had a special place in heart for her grandkids, they meant everything to her. If you knew Liz, you knew you could always find her on the “fish creek”.  She loved Karaoke and would always find time to sing and dance.  She knew no strangers, always having words of advice, encouragement and wisdom for those she encountered whether you wanted them or not.  She just loved to have conversation and was known to “keep it real” but would feed you at the same time and some would keep her going until they got those wonderful words from her.  She worked at St Leo University as a House Keeping Manager until her retirement and then became a caregiver until her health failed.  She departed this earth on September 30, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family, just as she would have it.  She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 26 years, Argon L. (Count) Roberts; daughters, Kathy Gaddy and Althea Harris of Dade City, FL;  a son, Vincent Gaddy Sr of New Port Richey, FL;  an adopted son, Shawn A. Giles of Dade City, FL; 3 bonus daughters, Deaisha Gray (Mike), Valarie Pryor (Anthony) of Dade City, and Robbin Phillips (Ricky) of Tampa, FL; 18 grandchildren, Vincent Jr, Rachelle, Shaqueria, Xnoxeviana, Aaliyah, Mariyah, Jasmine, Lashawn, Tanesha, Lawuan, Jaelyn. Davonte, Zara, Zoey, Ramir, Tiana, and Anthony Jr, Zion;  4 great-grandchildren, Zayden, VG III, Journey and Harmony;  Sisters, Rosena Jones (Jim) of Dade City, FL and Forstell Canty of Tampa, FL and  Luvenia Washington who has preceded her in death;  special family, Ida Graham; aunts, Ethel (Bishop Eugene) Joyner of Miami, FL, Cora Lee Tucker (San Antonio, FL), Daisy Fortner (Ohio), Mary Lyles of St Petersburg, Fl.
