Obituary

Donald Allen Papke was born in the winter in Buffalo, New York on January 13th, 1932 to the parents Florence Overholt and Kenneth Papke. Donald eventually settled down in Clearwater, Florida after serving his country as an aircraft electrician in the Korean War. He met his wife Carolyn June Papke after serving his country, and settled down with his wife for 67 years. Donald worked at Honeywell for the space program for many years until finally retiring in 1991. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2022. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved buying supporting items for his team. He loved fishing and being outdoors to enjoy nature. He was a natural handyman and always supported his family. He was an amazing father and grandfather among other roles he filled. He is survived by his son, Rodney Papke and his daughter, Karen Pereiro. He is also survived by 6 granddaughters, Kristina Papke, Caitlyn Papke, Brittany Pereiro, Brooke Pereiro, Alexis Pereiro, and Hailey Pereiro. And a great grandson Jaxson. He will always be remembered as the loving and helpful person that he was.
