Deborah Ann Giles was born at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Dade City Florida on October 14, 1957 to the union of Benjamin and Mattie Giles. Deborah was a graduate of Zephyrhills High School. Following graduation, she began an extensive career in banquet & catering services with Saddlebrook Resort & The Walt Disney World Company. Everyone that knew Deborah knew that her events would be to the utmost elegance. From the décor of the space to the setup of items like her famous fruit trays. Deborah was known for her elegant fashion taste, her cooking, being a jack of all trades and her love of family & community. She loved building things and spending time outside working on her lawn. She took tremendous pride in her yard; this was her true happy place. She was always willing to go out of her way to help those in need. She valued the love of community and displayed that through her love and support of those near and far. Most importantly, Deborah was authentically real and a straight shooter. You knew that you could go to her, and she wouldn’t tell you what you wanted to hear, but what you needed to hear. She would do so without passing judgement and then would guide you out with her favorite saying “love in and love out”. Deborah was proceeded in death by her parents Mattie Lee Giles & Benjamin Giles Sr, her sisters Eloise & Trish Giles, and her loving soulmate Daniel Harold all of Zephyrhills. She leaves to cherish great memories: sister, Andrea Giles (James) of Gibsonton, FL; two brothers, James Giles Sr. (Freddie Mae) of Dade City and Benjamin Giles (Alana) of Davenport, FL; an uncle, Earl Holmes of Orlando, FL, an aunt Betty Smiley of St. Cloud; Eleven nieces & nephews, Reggie, Kendrick, Shannon, Kimberly, Terry, James Jr, Moniece, Treyvond, Sven, Gabrielle, Sir, Abraham; and a host of cousins, great nieces & nephews and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Pelva Miller, Earl Holmes, Sharon Jiles, Margaret Mathis, Rose Hicks-Sylvester, Betsy Dobson, and Heidi Knapp for their ongoing support and care in her final days. We extend overall thanks to the village that has helped her in any way during her time here with us.
