Mrs. Grace Murphy was born December 25, 1929, to the late Mamie Roberts and Eston Sheppard of Tampa, Florida. She committed her life to Jesus Christ at an early age and later became a faithful member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio, Florida under the leadership of Doctor Willie Roberts Sr., where she was a Mother and served on the Usher Board. Grace was a dedicated Christian who loved her church family and enjoyed hearing the word of God. Her favorite pastime was her church service and activities with the Cares Crescent Enrichment Center as well as watching late-night Christian television. Grace was a dedicated and long-time employee of St. Leo University. On June 10, 2021, Grace passed quietly at home after having her customary visit by Reverend Dr. Roberts and Sister Roberts. She was proceeded in death by her Husband Deacon Charlie Murphy, Brother Johnny Roberts, Sisters: Josephine Hall, Ruthie Harris, Elvira Anderson, Bertha Sullivan, Grandson Sylvester E. Sheppard & Niece Thelma Brown. Grace is survived by her Daughter: Gladys Sheppard of Tampa, FL., Grandson Craig J. Brown (Antonia) of Tallahassee, FL., Great Grand Children: Tyler S. Brown, Chandler T. Brown, Sylvester E. Shepard Jr., & Deontae Sheppard. Nieces: Her Favorite Niece Cheryl Walker (Wendell), Gloria Hall Harris and Kimberly Rogers, Nephews: Darrel Hall (Rita), Ronald Hall, Benjamin Allen, George W Sullivan (Anise), Jay Sullivan & Goddaughter Neudie Scott, and a host of Great Nieces and Nephews.

Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.
