Claude Andrew Barner, III

Claude Andrew Barner, III was born November 7, 1984 to Andrea Barner and Claude Barner, Jr. in Dade City, FL.  He was raised by his parents, Andrea and Paul Colbert.  Claude attended the Pasco County Public School System until his senior year.  He enrolled and graduated from Whitney M. Young Job Corp in Simpsonville, KY. Claude worked his way through life with employment at Saddlebrook Resort, McGinnis Lumber, Davey Tree Service, Tampa International Airport Security Supervisor and Raymond James Stadium Security.  He enjoyed working the NFL 2009 Super Bowl in Tampa, FL with his brother Robert Warren and his dad Paul Colbert. The three garnered much attention as the father and two sons on duty.  Claude also worked security at the 2010 NFL Super Bowl in Miami, FL.  Claude was united in matrimony to Angela Barner. To this union, two children were born, Claude Andrew Barner, IV and Chloe Ania Barner.  Claude accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Dade City, FL under the leadership of Rev. L. Waiters, Sr.  As an adult, Claude rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized by Pastor Rashidi Collins at Victory Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Seffner, FL.  On Thursday, December 3, 2020, after a lengthy battle with Cancer, Claude transitioned from labor to reward and joined his siblings, Robert Andre Warren and Paula Carletta Colbert. Claude was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Martha Lewis, Claude Barner, Sr. and Rev. Richard Wormack Sr.; brother, Robert Warren; and sister, Paula Colbert.  Precious memories of Claude will be forever cherished by his devoted wife, Angela Barner; adored children, Claude Andrew Barner, IV and Chloe Ania Barner; devoted parents, Andrea and Paul Colbert and Claude Barner, Jr. (Laronda); siblings, Jordyn Colbert, Christina Barner, Emerald Barner, Angela Colbert, Sheila Mann (Tim), Terry L. McClendon (Jessie), Mina Teal, Angela O’Neal, Jamie Byrd (Brenda), Lemuel Pickett, Paul Colbert, Jr., and Victor Colbert; aunts, Angela Y. Lewis-Bennett (Imani), Marjorie Walker-Cooper, Mattie Jones (Floyd), Ruthie Colbert, Minister Valerie Barner Cook, Velvet Corbett (Will), and Tonja Murray; uncles, Andrew N. Lewis, III (Leroilyn), Richard Barner (Jamie), and Theodore Barner (Delois); mother-in-law, Anna Albea (Herb); father-in-law, Jimmy Duncan (April); grandmother, Ella Meadows, Edith Barner, Leatrice Barner and Lillie Mae Wormack; sisters-in-law, Janice,  brothers-in-law, Jimmy Duncan; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

*Due to the Conoravirus pandemic, all services will institute the CDC guidelines throughout the duration of the Funeral, Graveside or Memorial services.  Masks must be worn during every Funeral, Graveside or  Memorial service, this assures that everyone is safe.  We also ask that everyone practice social distancing at all times.  If you are attending a public graveside service, we ask that you bring your own chair and provide your own water bottle, should you need either of the two.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
