Cheryl D. Rooks was born in Dade City, Florida on December 28, 1959, to the late Bernice Rooks Evans and Robert Sampson. Cheryl was the baby of her siblings; one sibling preceded her in death, Perdita Rooks Mason (Perry) and was survived by her brothers, Terrance “Glen” Rooks (Ava), Gregory Sampson (Beverly), Tony Sampson, and Tina Sampson. Cheryl attended elementary school at James Buchanan Elementary in Levittown, PA. Her parents then moved back to Dade City, Florida and Cheryl attended Junior High at Pasco Middle School. Cheryl also attended Pasco Comprehensive High School. Cheryl had seven beautiful children; Charmaine Slay, Charnara Parker, Charnel Parker, Donald Parker, Charlon Parker (Andre), Donovan Parker, and Damonte Parker. Cheryl was married to Donald Parker. Cheryl is survived by her grandchildren, Kyaila Tarver, Rashawda Tarver, Isis Tarver, Jayshawn Parker, Granville Harris III, Jeremiah Harris, Melliah Hammond, Lavante Otero, Diamond Richardson, Damien Parker, and Dominique Parker. Cheryl's grandchildren, whom she loved dearly are Aiden Flynn, Aria Flynn, and Dre’Aze Parker. A very special niece, Lekeshia Mason-Berry. Cheryl has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish fond memories of her sweet soul! Cheryl Rooks is gone but definitely not forgotten.

Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.

We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible. We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time.
