Mrs. Carolyn Jiles Gibson, affectionately known to many as "Cal" was born on January 9, 1949 in Zephyrhills, Florida to the Late Nathaniel and Lillian Giles. Cal spent her childhood days in Zephyhrhills, FL. She was educated in the Pasco County School System. Cal spent most of her adult life helping and often assisting most of the community when it came to childbirth and good ole home remedies for illnesses. She always had an open door, open arms and open ears, as well as a hot plate for any and everyone who needed it. Cal took pride in her family and loved having everyone together as often as possible. Cal had a way of making each and every person she came in contact with feel very special, and was a secret keeper for many. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cal spent 40 plus years with the love of her life and became Mrs. Carolyn Gibson on July 9, 2017, a title she held with great pride and honor daily. Cal really enjoyed cooking big meals for everyone and always had an open kitchen. Carolyn took her place in heaven on the morning of March 19, 2022 with her love ones by her side. She will be greatly missed by many. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Lillian Giles; her daughter, Tier Giles; her grand-daughter, Quashai Harrison; her siblings, Bessie Mae Giles-Bolden, Nathan Giles Jr., and Colaveto Giles Sr. Those left behind to cherish and honor her legacy: her husband, Johnnie B.
