Calandra Glover Obituary

Ms. Calandra E. Glover was born October 27, 1979 in Dade City, Florida to the Late Tommy Brown and the Late Cotelius Glover. Calandra received her formal education in the Pasco County Public School System where she met and made many friends. She was a lifelong member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Harold Thomas. Calandra was previously employed with K-Mart stores, where she worked in many capacities. She enjoyed cruising thru the seas with her family and her friends. She also enjoyed cooking and having a great time. On January 18, 2022, God called Calandra home to rest and she is reunited with her mother, Cortelius in the bosom of Jesus. Calandra was preceded in death by both her parents; her sisters, Alexis Glover and Tomika Brown; her maternal grandmother, Florence Capehart; her great grandmother, Lucille Dudley; her grandfathers, Phillip Mathis, King David Capehart and William Wynn; aunt, Linda Starks; and her cousin, Teneis Mathis. Calandra is survived by her sister, Adrienne Brown; like a sister, Victoria Starks; two uncles, Eugene Glover and Elijah Mathis (Isabel); cousins, Jilisa Mathis, and Elijah Mathis Jr.; her great aunts, Lillie Ruth Brown (Charlie), Eloise McKenzie and Jean Dickson; great uncles, Theodore Dudley Jr. (Carolyn), Robert Dudley (Ira Lee), Joe Lee Dickson (Cal) and Sasha Dickson (Patricia); god mother, Johnnie Sue Jeter; god sister, Karen Jeter; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

 

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented necessary procedures during Visitations, Funeral Ceremonies, Gravesides, and other public and private ceremonies.  We do ask that all visitors of these services to please continue to wear your masks and please remember to social distance.  These new policies may be inconvenient, but due to the severity of the virus, we ask that everyone be considerate, patient, and safe with others as we try to get through this most difficult time.  Seating during services may be limited so please be considerate of the immediate family especially.  

*If you are attending a Graveside service or an Outdoor Celebration you are welcomed to bring your own chair as seating will be limited!  We will provide water to make everyone as comfortable as possible.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time. We pray that everyone stays safe and cooperative with the current CDC rules.
